Absolutely Fen-tastic!

January 2012: It’s a KZN institution, one of the longest running and best loved music festivals in the land. Yes, it’s Splashy Fen, and it’s just around the corner (can you believe it?) from April 5 to 9, 2012. There are concessions for those booking tickets to the Underberg area music and folk festival in advance (see info below).

Expect the usual line-up of quality local and national music acts with plenty of sideline entertainment to keep you busy.

Fun activities for the whole family, arts and crafts, a wide assortment of food and drink outlets plus camping facilities throughout the five day festival (look out for the hot showers and Kreef Hotel). Splashy truly has something for everyone.

Advance Tickets

Advance tickets cost R500 per person at Computicket, which includes camping for the entire festival from April 5 to 9. Computicket has numerous outlets around the country, including the Money Market counters at all Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores. You can also buy your tickets online or via the call centre at 0861 915 8000.

Festival Gate

• R650 per person arriving on Thursday, April 5 or Friday, April 6.
• R500 per person arriving on Saturday, April 7
• R150 per person arriving on Sunday, April 8

Children

Tickets for children aged 4 – 11 cost R125 and are available at physical Computicket outlets, via the call centre and at the festival gate. Children under four get in free.

• Gates open at 7am on Thursday, April 5.
• No under 18s without parental supervision
