A drop-dead gorgeous R6.5m million Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador – the newest flagship hypercar off the production line – will be unveiled in Umhlanga next Wednesday (January 25, 2012).
Lamborghini has been taking orders for the exotic supercar for years and although there is still a waiting list, six of the uber-beautiful cars have been imported into the country.
Now members of the IBV International Vault’s exclusive IBV Supercar Club SA, who boast a range of head-turning luxury models of their own, will be able to see the spectacular vehicle for themselves.
They have been invited along to the cocktail launch at IBV at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping to marvel at the Aventador and its revolutionary new design and technology.
The VIP event is the second get-together of the recently-formed IBV Supercar Club, established by IBV founder Ashok Sewnarain after he noticed how many clients turned up to do business in high-end super wheels.
“There is such a fascination and interest in the Aventador when it was launched in Johannesburg recently that some of our Durban Supercar Club members flew up to see it for themselves. I then decided that we needed to bring an Aventador to Durban to show our other local members, said Sewnarain.
The Aventador will arrive in Durban on Wednesday morning, but will be kept under wraps until the evening’s launch.
Several other awesome vehicles – a Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley GTC and Bentley Series 51- will also be on show.
While the launch is limited to invited guests, the public will be able to view the Aventador from a vantage point overlooking Gateway’s P3 parking level.
