Socialite Hilton rapped over dagga in purse

It seems socialite heiress Paris Hilton has learnt little from her escapades in South Africa.

Having narrowlycaped official censure following her high jinks in Port Elizabeth, superwealthy socialite Paris Hilton was bust with dagga in her purse on the French island of Corsica. Police confiscated a tiny amount of dagga and later released Hilton without charge.

The 29-year-old heiress was arrested in Port Elizabeth during the World Cup on charges of possession of dagga, but was not charged, with insiders believing her friend and former Playmate Jennifer Rovero took the fall for her. In Port Elizabeth Hilton claimed she was a “scapegoat” used by the media to sell headlines while far more important issues were at play.

Hilton served jail time in Los Angeles in 2007 after violating her probation on a drink-driving charge.
