North Coast Big 5 competition

February 16, 2012: The community-driven North Coast Big 5 campaign has been organised to determine which are the most popular hot spots across five different categories in the Ilembe District. These include:

Activities: Things to do, attractions, kids’ activities, sports activities, family outings
Destinations: Hotels, B&Bs, wedding venues, function and conference facilities, shopping centres
Entertainment: Restaurants, pubs and clubs, cafes and coffee shops, theatres
Health and Lifestyle: Spa and beauty salons, fitness clubs and centres, fitness activities and   classes, health and organic shops
Community: Community projects, local initiatives, local culture and heritage, NPOs, local profiles

Beautiful surroundings

The Ilembe District stretches from Ndwedwe to the shores of Mandini and inland and this competition aims to highlight the district’s beautiful surroundings while promoting local businesses and tourism.
