A purrr-fect day out

A purrr-fect day out

Sunday, March 13. Sam Bird, staff member of The Crest magazine – The Ridge magazine’s sister publication – and friends Kiley Horne and Leanne Dorrington, gathered forces to raise funds for the Kloof & Highway SPCA at the Knowles Spar centre in Pinetown on Saturday. Dressed up as kittens they attracted attention from animal lovers on the scene, who pawsed for thought and were keen to lend a hand to the SPCA.

See our picture gallery below.

Funds were raised through cash donations, purchase of items on sale, while food was also donated to this worthy cause. A total of R3013 in cash and pet food to the value of R2 200 were collected.

Well done to Sam, Kiley and Leanne. They also thanked staff members from the companies Famous Publishing and Paton Tupper for their generous donations.
