December 6, 2011. Dolphins by Starlight will have young and old enthralled as the marine theme park’s superstars – queens of splash, Affrika, Tombi, Khanya and Zulu, saltwater showmen Kelpie, Jula, Khwezi and Ingelosi, and show stopper Gambit, the largest bottlenose dolphin in any oceanarium in the world – turn up the glitz and the glamour for the festive season.

Don’t miss out on this family spectacular show from December 14 to 18. Sponsored by First National Bank, this year’s Dolpins by Starlight show features some of Durban’s top talents – Clive Gumede, Lauren Laing, Andrew Sutton, Louise Golding and Quinton Ribbonaar, who will perform an extract from The Nutcracker, and the enchanting electric string quartet Brava. With a 12 piece orchestra, the ensemble cast features Bradley Marshall, Brendon Mendez, Kirstin Day, Samantha Landers, Natalie Shama and Portia Sishi. The 1st Medical Battalion pipes and drums will also be performing.
The Christmassy song list adds tinsel – expect strains of divas Maria Carey, Christina Aguilera and Beyonce – and features the likes of When a Child is Born, Silent Night, Mary’s Boy Child Jesus Christ, The Prayer as well as sing-a-longs Jingle Bells, Silent Night and more.
