December 1, 2011. The COP17/CMP7 climate change conference has motivated a host of edutainment initiatives that have extended to community facilities around Durban. Climate change, its effects and how to deal with it are being creatively expressed through storytelling, street theatre, art competitions and musical performances.
Look out for live performances by Ellis Pearson with his Man Up a Tree, physical theatre piece and Gcina Mhlophe’s storytelling at the Durban Green Hub and Durban Botanic Gardens.
